COVID-19: How RELAY SHOP USA is responding

Our valuable customers,

 

 

COVID-19 is having a dramatic impact on our lives, businesses, and on supply chains.

 

I want to share an update on what RELAY SHOP USA is doing to keep our customers and our people safe while continuing to provide our services.

 

RELAY SHOP USA is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding our employees about frequent hand washing, and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and equipment. Importantly, we are asking that our employees stay home from work if they feel sick.

 

On top of those general measures, we will also apply the specific procedures below, to reduce the spread of the virus through the received packages, and those procedures will increase our processing time for all packages received and shipped. This will also increase the processing time for all special requests and customer service.

 

  • The number of employees working at the same has been limited to 1 per department. Each workstation will be disinfected after each shift.

  • All received packages will be disinfected on the outside and placed in a confined area for 24 hours.

  • After 24 hours, all plastic envelopes will be sprayed again.

  • All cardboard packages will be processed first, then the envelopes last. 

 

Those measures will increase our processing time for all departments, and we want to thank you in advance for your patience.

If your storage time is about to expire, you will be able to keep storing all your packages, free of charge, until april 30th 2020, if needed.

 

Those preventive measures will be applied for the next 15 days to allow us to adapt to this new challenge. Depending on how things evolve, we will either go back to regular processing times, or in contrary, increase our preventive measures. We will keep you updated on the situation.
